The club has been running a Kids Bowls Program for six weeks again this winter for Kapakapanui and Waikanae Primary Schools.
The sessions were on Wednesday club days for an hour from 1:30 -2:30 between 22 May and 26 June and comprised target games as well as triples matches.
This year we had around 24 year 7 & 8 pupils attending each session, each pupil being offered two weeks, so over 70 pupils had a go.

Later in the year we will be running at least two weeks of more advanced coaching and also once again be hosting the school’s Frank van Kampen inter-school bowls competition of triples and pairs (September)
