TWILIGHT
These tournaments are lots of fun with lots of spot prizes, prizes for winning teams each evening and prizes for the overall winners
For our 2026 season, we are offering two opportunities to join us for Twilight bowls.
The cost is $75 for a team regardless of the number of players registered
At our Te Moana Road site
Twilight bowls will commence at 6.30pm on Wednesday 21 January and will run for seven weeks, finishing on 4 March
Coaching will be available on Tuesday 20 January 2026. In addition, club members will be available each week to provide assistance

Twilight bowls will commence at 6.30pm on Monday 26 January and will run for six weeks until 2 March

Registration for teams
Each team is a minimum of 3 players. Teams can register more players to facilitate having at least 3 on any night.
Entry Fees
The entry fee for each team is $75 for the 7 week duration regardless of the number of players registered. Entry fees can be paid from 5.30pm on Tuesday 21 January 2025 and can be made in cash, by EFT-POS at the bar or paid in advance as a credit to the Club’s bank account Waikanae United Bowling Club Inc.- A/C No. 02-0591-0005873-000
Shoes
All players must wear flat soled shoes (no heels) and will receive suitable sized bowls
Membership
Each player registered will receive a Membership Card for the duration of this tournament for legal access to the bar
Wet weather
If the games need to be cancelled on any week due to wet weather, we will extend competition by one week to ensure we get the scheduled weeks of play
At each site, bar will be open, sausage sizzle on the bbq. Raffles and prizes complete the package for a fun tournament
